Sunday Sandwiches returns on Sunday, September 21.  Join us in Forbes Parlor after worship for a time of fellowship and study with a light lunch of sandwiches (and chips, but BYOB).  We will start the year with a discussion of Ross Gay’s book Inciting Joy.   Gay challenges the assumption that joy is something frivolous; indeed, he reminds us that joy is not separate from suffering or sorrow. In fact, joy could be what happens when we care for one another through suffering and sorrow.  Join us as a regular member whether that means every Sunday or just whenever you can.  We will attempt to wrap up by 1 p.m. each week.
