Imagine Campaign 2006 Events and Dates

January 22 & 29:
Information Distribution

At the close of Worship Services on these days each family will receive a packet of Information about our Capital Stewardship Campaign. There will be a Brochure, Question & Answer piece, Prayer-related items and a DVD to help explain what we are doing and how this will enhance our Church here at Southminster Presbyterian Church. Don’t miss picking up your packet!

February 5, 12, 19, 26 and March 5:
Inspiration Phase
On these five consecutive Sundays, our Worship Service will focus on stewardship, prayer, sacrificial giving and commitment. Each Sunday’s worship service will encourage and prepare each one of us for our commitment to our campaign.

February 5 & 12:
SPY Kids Poster Festival Contest

Sunday School children will have the opportunity to start designing Imagine-themed posters (sized 12x18) with Mrs. Martin on Feb. 5 in preparation for the Festival Contest. Posters must be brought back to church by 9:45AM on Feb. 12th for the contest. A great way for parents to help their kids grasp the concepts of sacrificial giving and stewardship!

February 19 at 12:00 Noon:
Advance Commitment Luncheon (RSVP)
To learn about available giving options, reserve a seat at this informative lunch. Speakers include our campaign consultant Mark Blackmore of RSI Consulting, as well as Pastor Dr. Sam Haun. SPC Youth will be serving.

March 5:
Commitment Sunday & Brunch (RSVP)

On this special day, we will turn in our three-year Commitment Cards for the Imagine Capital Stewardship Campaign. We will also be having a special
brunch in Fellowship Hall at 11:00AM, following Worship Service. All members of your family, adults & children, are invited!

March 26:
Celebration Sunday
We will announce the results of the campaign at this exciting worship service.  We will also be sharing our “first fruits offering” on this day as we begin the giving period to the campaign.
