About Our Church

In an age of fellowships and nondenominational movements, we are proud to be Presbyterian. We are proud to be a part of a global church and share in a mission that touches many peoples. We are proud of the historic Presbyterian emphasis upon a faith in Jesus Christ that is not purely emotional or intellectual, but touches and challenges both the mind and the heart.

Church Administration and Government

The Church Session is comprised of 12 elected elders, moderated by the pastor, and this board governs and ministers to the entire church. Its standing committees include Finance and Administration, Christian Education, Worship/Music, Mission, and Evangelism/Nurture.

The Board of Deacons is 12 elected officers led by their Moderator, who extend a personal ministry of service, sympathy, and witness. The deacons provide care for homebound members, transportation in emergency, receptions for funerals, flower delivery, and a variety of other ministries within the church, including a home Communion outreach known as the "Eucharistic Ministry."
